We are passionate about tonewoods!
We use a wide range of fine woods from all around the world as well as our local region. Any and all wood used in our instruments is acclimatized to the shop with a minimum of 5 years drying time.
From cedars and spruce to ocean salvaged maple, and rosewoods to mahoganies, each wood that we procure has a story behind it- ask and we’ll be happy to share.
finishes
Our standard finish is one of the thinnest available on the market. It has a soft satin sheen to it which protects the instrument while highlighting the beauty of the wood. All the while, it is very thin to allow the natural resonance of the wood to go uninterrupted.
